Part-Time and Full-Time Addictions Counselor

We are currently seeking a part-time and full-time Addictions Counselor to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Provide individual and group therapy
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Oversee aftercare planning
  • Collaborate with mental health therapist(s) to ensure highest level of treatment
  • Maintain legible, accurate, HIPAA compliant records
  • Comply with federal, state, and local, legal and professional requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Clinical License in State of Maryland issued by MD Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists or Maryland Board of Licensed Social Work Examiners
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of established diagnostic criteria for substance abuse disorders
  • Warm and compassionate demeanor

We are currently seeking a part-time cook/chef to join our team.


  • Prepare, cook and present meals that are nutritious, tasty and attractive
  • Accommodate clients’ special diets and food allergies, including gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegan, etc.
  • Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines
  • Manage the inventory of food services during his/her shif
  • Ensure proper safety within Food Services areas
  • Maintain high quality standards
  • Follow proper food storage protocol
  • Keep workstation and kitchen clean at all times (appliances, surfaces, floor, etc).

Physician Assistant

We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team.

  • Provide Medical Services. Physician Assistant shall provide professional medical services to clients during the Term of this Agreement.
  • Facility understands and acknowledges that during the Term of this Agreement, when Physician Assistant is not providing medical services on behalf of Facility, Physician Assistant may be providing medical services to members of the general public on her own behalf and/or in other existing practices.

Scope of Practice/Duties:

  • Oversee the client’s medical treatment in conjunction with Physician.
  • Oversee the client’s medication regime in conjunction with Physician.
  • Review medical protocols, as well as medical policies and procedures to ensure excellent quality care.
  • Provide education to staff for medical procedures and protocols.
  • Determine medical appropriateness for admission.
  • Attend and participate in meetings with staff as reasonably requested by Leadership or Physician.
  • Provide physical exams, assessments and evaluations.
  • Make recommendations and referrals for external medical care, as appropriate.
  • Prescribe medications, as warranted.
  • Express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Serve the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ensure State and Federal regulations and standards are being met and maintained with regard to medical care of clients.
